Allergen Free Label
Food allergy is a health problem experienced by many individuals in our country. Consumption of these foods by individuals with food allergies can cause illness and even death. In food products, allergen substances specified within the scope of "Turkish Food Codex Labeling Regulation" must be stated on the food packaging.
Allergen foods specified within the scope of Turkish Food Codex Labeling Regulation;
• Cereals containing gluten: wheat (eg spelled and durum), rye, barley, oats or their hybrid varieties and their products
• Crustaceans (Crustacea) and their products
• Eggs and egg products
• Fish and fish products
• Soybeans and soybean products
• Peanuts and peanut products
• Milk and dairy products (including lactose)
• Nuts: Almond (Amygdalus communis L.), hazelnut (Corylus avellana), walnut (Juglans regia), cashew (Anacardium occidentale), pecan (Carya illinoiesis (Wangenh.) K.Koch), brazil nut (Bertholletia) excelsa), pistachios (Pistacia vera), macadamia nut and Queensland nut (Macadamia ternifolia) and their products
• Celery and celery products
• Mustard and mustard products
• Sesame seeds and sesame seed products
• Sulfur dioxide and sulfites (for ready-to-eat products or prepared according to manufacturers' instructions, with a concentration calculated in terms of total SO2 of more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/L)
• Lupine and lupine products
• Molluscs and their products
Within the scope of the allergen-free labeling system, it is determined that the products do not contain allergens and labeling is carried out.
