The ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Certification System specifies the principles and requirements for processes such as measuring and reporting an organization's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It includes requirements such as planning, development and management of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory.
The ISO 14064 standard consists of three parts:
- Part 1: Covers the requirements for designing and developing GHG inventories at the organization and institution level.
- Part 2: Covers requirements for measuring, monitoring and reporting emission reductions and removals from greenhouse gas (GHG) projects.
- Part 3: Covers the requirements for the verification and execution of GHG information.
